The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) can only investigate serious or systemic corrupt conduct involving Commonwealth public officials and others within its jurisdiction.
If your concern is outside the NACC's jurisdiction, another organisation may be able to help. This page provides information about common reporting and complaint pathways.
What is your concern about?
Australian Government agency, service or decision
The NACC does not review government decisions or investigate complaints about poor service that do not involve corrupt conduct.
If you are dissatisfied with an Australian Government agency's service or a decision it has made, you should generally contact the agency first. Many agencies have complaint and review processes that can resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
If you are not satisfied with the agency's response, you may be able to make a complaint to the Commonwealth Ombudsman.

Not sure where your issue fits?
You do not need to be certain that the conduct you are concerned about involves corruption before contacting us.
If you believe conduct may involve corruption in the Commonwealth public sector, you can provide information to the NACC. We will assess the information and determine whether it raises a corruption issue within our jurisdiction.
If we cannot investigate the matter, we may be able to provide information about a more appropriate complaint or reporting pathway.
