Scams
The Commission has been made aware there may be scammers impersonating our staff. Please be alert. If you think you have been contacted by a scammer, please call 1300 489 844 and speak to a Commission staff member who can assist you.
If the NACC contacts you, we will never:
- request you to pay a service charge or fee
- send you a pre-recorded message
- threaten you with deportation, or freezing or forfeiture of assets.

This is a call-back service that operates between 8.30 am and 10 pm, Monday to Friday (AEST). We will aim to call you back within 2 business days. Before we call, we will send you an SMS to let you know to expect our call.

If you are d/Deaf, hard of hearing or have a speech/communication difficulty please contact us by:
- Step 1 – Contact us through your preferred NRS call channel detailed on NRS call numbers and links.
