These terms of use apply to NACC social media accounts – Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube. In accessing, posting or contributing to our social media pages as an individual, entity or otherwise, you agree to abide by these terms of use.
The NACC does not have to consider or respond to every referral it receives. The Commissioner can decide not to take any action in relation to a referral. If a referral raises a corruption issue, the Commission may deal with it in one or more ways.
The following protections are provided for whistleblowers and others who provide information to the Commission. Information is provided on protections that exist under the NACC Act.
If the decision is made that referral to the NACC raises a corruption issue, the Commission then decides what to do with it. NACC corruption investigations use a number of investigative methods to gather information relevant to the investigation.
The NACC investigates issues of serious or systemic corrupt conduct in the Australian Government public sector. The terms serious and systemic are not defined under the NACC Act. The Commissioner determines whether a matter could involve serious or systemic corrupt conduct.
