Operation Pelican: investigation report

Operation Pelican investigated an employee of WSA Co Limited (WSA) who solicited a bribe from a company involved in a procurement process.

The Commission found the employee had engaged in corrupt conduct by abusing his office. The investigation resulted in the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions charging the employee with the offence of soliciting a corrupt commission. He pleaded guilty and was convicted.
